Nissan has developed an inventive way of advertising its new Note hatchback on its Japanese website – using a digital flipbook called ‘Long scroll, Long Drive, Long Life'. The start of the flipbook sees a couple getting into the Note and as you scroll down, the car begins to weave through Tokyo roads, while information at the side of the screen tells you in detail about the car's features and performance. Honda is ready to begin the makeover of its Acura premium brand this spring, and the timing could hardly be better. In addition to the new ILX small sedan and redesigned RDX compact crossover coming in spring, a tease of the redesigned RL flagship due this fall will be shown at the New York auto show in April. Then, the volume leading TL sedan and MDX mid-sized crossover are slated for 2013 redesigns.
Koenigsegg Agera R - confirmed for Geneva
We discovered last month that one of only two Koenigsegg Agera’s so far delivered had been turned in to a Koenigsegg Agera R – with extra horses and extra Koenigesegg goodness – for a member of the Oman Royal Family. After a few phone calls we were also able to exclusively reveal that Christian von Koenigesegg liked what he’d done to the Agera so much, the Koenigsegg Agera R was to be turned in to a production model and would turn up at the Geneva Motor Show. And so it is.
